Frequently asked questions

No minimum. If you have a 1-page document, we will be happy to edit it for you.

We prefer that you give us as much notice as possible (usually one week), but we also understand that some projects have unpredictable and sudden deadlines. We encourage you to contact us; if our staff have room in their workflow, we can accommodate last-minute or rush requests.

For our pricing purposes, a page is any page that is double-spaced, has 12-point font, and at least 1-inch margins. This way, we make sure that our staff are paid fairly and consistently for their work.

If your page contains many images or graphics that we will not be editing, we remove them from our pricing calculations. This way, we don’t charge for work we didn’t do.

We convert this document to our minimum specifications: double-spaced, 12-font, 1-inch margins. We base our pricing on the number of pages in this format. We send you a quote with the copy of the document, for your review. If you are satisfied, we process the payment and start working on your document.

No, we do not.

Ensuring there is no copied content or plagiarism is the sole responsibility of the customer. If we happen to notice potential cases of copied content or plagiarism, we will bring it up to your attention, but it is not something we actively look at.

Unfortunately, we cannot write content for you.

Since writing the content is part of your course, us writing it for you would constitute cheating under the code of student behaviour of your institution. Therefore, we only offer editing services for students.

Minimum of one hour per workshop; however, we do recommend at least three hours for the External Writing Workshop, so that participants are able to fully benefit from the information.

Not exactly. We recommend a maximum of 25 attendees per session. However, we can accommodate really large numbers of attendees, but there will be minimal practice and examples.

Please note that we incorporate the number of attendees into our final quote for the workshops.

We always issue an invoice when we process a payment. If you want any specific names on the invoice, just let us know!
